textile design

In this project I tried to find new methods

for making prints. I chose to explore how

a three-dimensional shape can work as inspiration in print design by sketching directly on different objects. I either followed or chose to break with the shapes of the objects.

The project resulted in a collection called Mikroskopia, which consists of the prints Membran, Flaga, Kapillär, Molekyl and Bacill. My inspiration comes from the microscopic world within the body where blood vessels are shaped as corals and tissue forms mountain landscapes.
